Overview

Madrid is located by the Manzanares River in the centre of Spain. In Madrid, only a very small part of medieval architecture has been preserved, mostly in the centre of Almendra, including the churches of San Nicolás and San Pedro el Viejo, the church of St. Jerome and the bishop's chapel. Many of Madrid's historic buildings date back to the Spanish Golden Age.

About The Tour

Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

Our driver will meet you at the airport in Madrid and take you to the hotel. Our guide team will meet you later afternoon, and we will make a small city tour, including an amazing food tasting.

After breakfast we will start to explore the city. We will visit places such as El Prado, Kings palace in Madrid, stadion Santiago Bernabeu or plaza Mayor.Cibeles Square is located at the intersection of Alcala Street, Paseo de Recoletos, Paseo del Prado. This place, one of the most famous places in the capital, divides the district boundaries of Centro, Retiro and Salamanca. In the centre of the square is the famous Cibeles fountain, carved in 1782. Madrid offers many amazing places and historical buildings. Evening time we will spend on a great dinner with amazing local food tasting.

This green oasis in the centre of Madrid covers an area of 125 hectares and is home to more than 15,000 trees. El Retiro Park is not only the lungs of Madrid, but also offers cultural, leisure and sports activities to all residents of Madrid and visitors. Popular features include the rowing lake and the Velázquez and Glass palaces, now used as an exhibition hall.

Gran Vía is now famous as the Broadway of Spain, mainly thanks to its rich nightlife. It is referred to as the street that never sleeps. Gran Vía is located near Plaza de Cibeles, it runs from Calle de Alcalá to Plaza de España. Live Street is one of the most important commercial areas of the city with a large number of hotels and large cinemas. The street is also known for the interesting architecture of several buildings. It is considered to be a showcase of early 20th century architecture, consisting of Viennese Art Nouveau, Plateresque and Art Deco styles.

Atocha is the largest railway station in Madrid, where various types of trains, both interstate and national, arrive and depart. Interestingly, in 1992 the original building was decommissioned as a terminal and converted into a place with shops, cafes and a night club. In the building, you will also find a wonderful tropical botanical garden with an area of 4,000 m². The garden has about 7,000 plants of 260 different species, as well as small lakes with freshwater fish and several turtles. Most of the plants are of tropical origin, and many of them are mainly palm trees. Some of these palm trees are so tall that they almost reach the roof of the station.

After breakfast our driver will take you to the airport. Our tour is going to finish, but we are sure that your time with Madrid and with us was amazing. We are looking forward to seeing you soon on another trip.
